How much light does your space really get?

Before I plan a single planter, I want to know one thing: where the sun lands, and for how long. Most people overestimate. A wall that feels bright at noon might only get three real hours of direct sun.

Here's the simple test. On a clear day, take a photo of your space every two hours from morning to evening. Look at where the shadows fall. Anywhere that gets six or more hours of direct sun is full sun — peppers, tomatoes, okra. Three to six hours is partial — efo, herbs, ugu. Less than that is shade, and we work with leafy greens and patience.

Send me those photos when we talk. Half of my job is reading the light you already have.
